Unguarded thoughts can be our worst enemy

It seems fitting to ask ourselves how well we coped this week.

And we may realise we have done a pretty good job sometimes of beating ourselves up.

So who needs enemies eh?!

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

And it all starts with observing our thoughts.

Not to make ourselves feel worse, but to re-adjust HOW we think.

When I first started practicing Mindfulness (almost 25 years ago now), I was totally insecure, self-critical, emotionally drained, and constantly experiencing panic attacks nearly every day.

None of that applies now.

Mindfulness is the ultimate skill to help us become more self-aware.

It shows us the pathway to understanding ourselves, and what’s more, it does it in such a non judgemental, kind, compassionate way. ❤️.
